It’s time to predict the winners for the 53rd Annual CMA Awards. The show is just days away and everyone’s votes are in, so let’s give it a shot! This should be pretty easy.

Bet all your money on my picks. I know people who know people. Cut me in after you cash in your winnings.

Entertainer of the Year

Garth Brooks
Eric Church
Chris Stapleton
Carrie Underwood
Keith Urban

Who Will Win: You can’t be mad at any of the nominees in this category, although I am stunned that Luke Bryan isn’t nominated. The same can be said for Jason Aldean. I see this as a two-horse race between Carrie Underwood and Eric Church. I think Carrie Underwood will ultimately come out on top.

Single of the Year

(Award goes to Artist(s), Producer(s), and Mix Engineer)

“Burning Man” – Dierks Bentley Feat. Brothers Osborne
Producers: Ross Copperman, Jon Randall, Arturo Buenahora, Jr.
Mix Engineer: F. Reid Shippen

“GIRL” – Maren Morris
Producer: Greg Kurstin
Mix Engineer: Greg Kurstin

“God’s Country” – Blake Shelton
Producer: Scott Hendricks
Mix Engineer: Justin Niebank

“Millionaire” – Chris Stapleton
Producers: Dave Cobb, Chris Stapleton
Mix Engineer: Vance Powell

“Speechless” – Dan + Shay
Producers: Dan Smyers, Scott Hendricks
Mix Engineer: Jeff Juliano

Who Will Win: I’ll be honest, there were way better songs that weren’t nominated. I’d say this is a weak category of songs for the “best.” That being said, its an easy win for Blake Shelton’s “God’s Country.”

Album of the Year

(Award goes to Artist and Producers)

Center Point Road – Thomas Rhett
Producers: Dann Huff, Jesse Frasure, Thomas Rhett, Julian Bunetta, The Stereotypes, Cleve Wilson

Cry Pretty – Carrie Underwood
Producers: David Garcia, Jim Jonsin, Carrie Underwood

Dan + Shay – Dan + Shay
Producers: Dan Smyers, Scott Hendricks

Desperate Man – Eric Church
Producers: Jay Joyce, Arturo Buenahora, Jr.

GIRL – Maren Morris
Producers: busbee, Maren Morris, Greg Kurstin

Who Will Win: Who even listens to albums anymore? Yawn. The frontrunner here is Desperate Man from Eric Church.

Song of the Year

(Award goes to Songwriters)

“Beautiful Crazy”
Songwriters: Luke Combs, Wyatt B. Durrette III, Robert Williford

“GIRL”
Songwriters: Maren Morris, Sarah Aarons, Greg Kurstin

“God’s Country”
Songwriters: Devin Dawson, Jordan Schmidt, Michael Hardy

“Rainbow”
Songwriters: Natalie Hemby, Shane McAnally, Kacey Musgraves

“Tequila”
Songwriters: Dan Smyers, Nicolle Galyon, Jordan Reynolds

Who Will Win: It’s a tragedy if “Tequila” doesn’t win. And it won’t. Dan + Shay always get screwed and it will continue again this year. My bet is that “Beautiful Crazy” takes home the win here.

Female Vocalist of the Year

Kelsea Ballerini
Miranda Lambert
Maren Morris
Kacey Musgraves
Carrie Underwood

Who Will Win: Stop it. It’s going to be Carrie Underwood.

Male Vocalist of the Year

Dierks Bentley
Luke Combs
Thomas Rhett
Chris Stapleton
Keith Urban

Who Will Win: NOW THIS A GREAT CATEGORY. It’s Stapleton V Combs with only one artist winning the trophy. This is such a strong category. I’d say this is a better category and closer race than EOTY. But you must give it to Luke Combs.

Vocal Group of the Year

Lady Antebellum
Little Big Town
Midland
Old Dominion
Zac Brown Band

Who Will Win: Only one group deserves to win this. There are several big names in this mix, but not a lot of hits. Except from Old Dominion. They will win.

Vocal Duo of the Year

Brooks & Dunn
Brothers Osborne
Dan + Shay
Florida Georgia Line
Maddie & Tae

Who Will Win: IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO THE NOMINEES ARE, JUST GIVE DAN + SHAY THE AWARD. WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!

Musical Event of the Year

(Award goes to Artists and Producer(s))

“All My Favorite People” – Maren Morris (feat. Brothers Osborne)
Producers: Maren Morris, busbee

“Brand New Man” – Brooks & Dunn (with Luke Combs)
Producer: Dann Huff

“Dive Bar” – Garth Brooks & Blake Shelton
Producer: Garth Brooks

“Old Town Road (Remix)” – Lil Nas X feat. Billy Ray Cyrus
Producers: YoungKio, Michael Trent Reznor, Atticus Matthew Ross

“What Happens In A Small Town” – Brantley Gilbert & Lindsay Ell
Producer: Dann Huff

Who Will Win: Well, we can eliminate “Old Town Road” and cut “All My Favorite People.” “Dive Bar” won’t win. It will be tough for “What Happens In A Small Town” to win even though this is the only song to do well on the chart. That being said, “Brand New Man” is gonna take this one.

Music Video of the Year

(Award goes to Artist(s) and Director)

“Burning Man” – Dierks Bentley Feat. Brothers Osborne
Director: Wes Edwards

“GIRL” – Maren Morris
Director: Dave Meyers

“God’s Country” – Blake Shelton
Director: Sophie Muller

“Rainbow” – Kacey Musgraves
Director: Hannah Lux Davis

“Some Of It” – Eric Church
Director: Reid Long

Who Will Win: There really isn’t a standout nominee here. Kacey Musgraves will likely get a little shine off of her recent success with her Golden Hour album. My prediction is “Rainbow.”

New Artist of the Year

Cody Johnson
Midland
Carly Pearce
Ashley McBryde
Morgan Wallen

Who Will Win: Carly Pearce and Midland will cancel each other out with the Big Machine label voting block. Morgan Wallen should win, but he is on a small record label without as many votes. Ashley McBryde will most likely take this one home.

The 53rd Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Carrie Underwood with special guest hosts Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, will air live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 8/7c on ABC.
