It’s official – “Country Music’s Party of the Year” was a major success! On Thursday, May 16, some of country music’s biggest stars and hottest newcomers gathered together at the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards , hosted by Reba McEntire, in Frisco, Texas.

While the majority of trophies were awarded during the live-stream event, several artists were crowned winners ahead of the big show. On Tuesday evening, the ACM New Artist of the Year winners were announced with Megan Moroney taking home the title of ACM New Female Artist of the Year, Nate Smith winning ACM New Male Artist of the Year, and Tigirlily Gold claiming ACM New Duo or Group of the Year.

The following day, Jessie Jo Dillon received her first ACM Award after winning ACM Songwriter of the Year, Chris Stapleton took home his 17th ACM Award when was named the winner of ACM Artist-Songwriter of the Year, and Parker McCollum clinched his second ACM Award, this time for ACM Visual Media of the Year for his music video for “Burn It Down,” produced by Christen Pinkston & Wesley Stebbins-Perry and directed by Dustin Haney.

Winners in the remaining categories were unveiled during the live show.

In addition to his ACM Artist-Songwriter of the Year trophy, Stapleton nabbed three more wins in the categories of ACM Male Artist of the Year and ACM Album of the Year for his Higher project. As a result, the “White Horse” singer walked away the most awarded artist of the evening with a total of four wins.

Lainey Wilson also left the event with a few reasons the celebrate, the biggest being that she was crowned ACM Entertainer of the Year. Throughout the event, she cinched two other awards in the categories of Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year for her collaboration with Jelly Roll on the hit single, “Save Me.”

This marked Wilson’s first time taking home the ACM Entertainer of the Year trophy, and her win now qualifies her for the ACM Triple Crown Award. The high honor celebrates artists who have won the esteemed titles of New Female/Male Artist/Duo or Group of the Year, Female/Male Artist/Duo/Group of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year, and Wilson has officially met that quota with her wins for 2021 ACM New Female Artist of the Year, 2022 & 2023 Female Artist of the Year, and 2023 Entertainer of the Year.

Additionally, she is the first woman to achieve the ACM Triple Crown Award in three years.

The 59th Academy of Country Music Awards aired exclusively on Prime Video on Thursday, May 16 live from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas at 8 p.m. EDT / 7 p.m. CDT / 5 p.m. PDT.

Viewers can experience all the fun, epic performances and milestone moments again with the complete rebroadcast now accessible for streaming on Prime Video.
