New details surrounding the 2024 CMT Music Awards continue to emerge, including a growing list of CMT Music Awards performers.
Who’s Performing At The 2024 CMT Music Awards?
This year’s show will feature an array of artists taking the stage, including Kelsea Ballerini who will take on double duty as the host and a performer.
Joining Ballerini on the Moody Center stage will be Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, and Sam Hunt. (Additional performers will be announced soon).
Zimmerman will take a break from his sold-out headlining tour to perform his current single, “Where It Ends.” The breakout star is vying for the title of Male Video of the Year for “Religiously.”
Jelly Roll, who dominated the CMT Music Awards in 2023, will return to the show yet again this year. Details surrounding his performance remain under wraps, however, it’s sure to be another standout moment for the genre-bending star.
Nine-time CMT Music Awards winner, Keith Urban, will take the stage for his history-making 20th performance, which is the most in CMT Music Awards history. He will make the performance debut of his song “Straight Line” during the show.
Lainey Willson will prove “Country’s Cool Again” with her CMT Music Awards performance. Additionally, she will compete for three trophies, including the night’s top honor – Video of the Year.
Also returning to the CMT Music Awards stage is Sam Hunt, who will debut a new song during his performance.
Nominees for the 2024 CMT Music Awards were announced earlier this month with Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, and Megan Moroney among the most nominated artists.
Fan Voting Continues
Fan voting is open now through April 1. Voting for the Video of the Year category runs through the show.
The 2024 CMT Music Awards will be hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and will air live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on Sunday, April 7 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS. The show will also be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.
