The Academy of Country Music just revealed the date for the 56th Academy of Country Music Awards.

According to a press release, the show will take place Sunday, April 18, 2021 and will air 8:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network and will stream live and on-demand on CBS All Access.

The news comes ahead of the 2020 show, which was originally scheduled to take place on April 5 in Las Vegas. Due to COVID-19, the 2020 ACM Awards were rescheduled to take place in Nashville (for the first time ever) on Wednesday, September 16.

The upcoming show will broadcast from three iconic country music venues: Grand Ole Opry House, Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Cafe. Reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Keith Urban is confirmed to host.

The 55th Annual ACM Awards will air Wednesday, Sept. 16 (live 8:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network, and will stream live and on-demand on CBS All Access.
