Adam Hambrick is getting creative with his music releases.
The singer/songwriter recently shared the first of three “Flip Sides,” which Hambrick describes as “a series of two-track releases bound together by a common thread.”
The first release, dubbed Top Down, Southbound, consists of two tracks: “Sunshine State of Mind” and “Do The Math.” The two songs examine different sides of a relationship, one in which his partner provides him strength and inspiration and one which describes a relationship that has inexplicably ended.
When describing the project’s title, “Top Down, Southbound,” Hambrick explained that the name “actually comes out of the song, ‘Sunshine State of Mind.’ He continued to note, “It’s a feeling. It’s a feeling that I think the way love is supposed to feel, and I think at its best is an easy drive down the highway with the sunshine coming through the windshield and music on the radio. When love is at its best, I think it’s that kind of feel-good groove.” Both songs have a catchy, infectious sound and demonstrate the songwriting skills of the talented artist.
Adam Hambrick is already an established songwriter, having written two No.1 hits including, Dan + Shay’s “How Not To” and Justin Moore’s “Somebody Else Will.” He continues to showcase his talent with his latest release.
