Up and coming country music star Alexandra Kay tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the woods with longtime love of nearly ten years, Indiana Touchette.

The unique celebration was held in Mt. Vernon, Illinois on Saturday, September 25 at A Pocket Full of Sunshine venue.

“We have been together for nine years already and have been through so many incredible and challenging times. Marriage is a celebration of making it through it all and we can’t wait to see what the next 50 years will bring,” the Illinois native shared in an interview with PEOPLE.

Kay stunned in an Oleg Cassini gown, accompanied by her bridesmaids adorned in velvet camel, dusty rose and champagne dresses. Both of Indiana’s brothers had the honor of being his best men, with the groomsmen dressed in grey-beige tuxedos completed with dusty rose ties. The groom stood out in a white tux with a floral pattern.

Officiated by Touchette’s brother-in-law, the nature-centered ceremony, was “everything we could have ever hoped for,” according to Kay. The celebration continued during the reception with a mix of country, ‘90s pop, current pop, hip hop and R&B music making a perfect dance party. Following the reception, the Touchettes’ embarked on a mini-moon in St. Louis.

The newlyweds plan to have an official honeymoon next year in Santorini, Greece.

Alexandra Kay wed just days after the release of her latest single, “Tall Boys,” which made its debut on Country Now
