It appears Chayce Beckham has been quite busy since he won American Idol

The season 19  winner took to social media on Thursday (Aug. 12) to share a few updates with fans. His post included the announcement of new tour dates as well as a few hints about what’s to come in his career.

The 14 just-announced shows will take place August 20 through October 2 in various cities such as Louisville, KY, Boston, MA, Virginia Beach, VA and more. 

The Apple Valley, CA native said he was “very very excited and proud” to announce the tour dates and teased that there is more good news on the horizon.

“So many things are in process right now and it’s just so badass to see the things I/my team have been working so hard on come together,” he wrote. “These shows are going to be epic. I have a million things I want to share with y’all and songs I want you to hear, but all that is in the works, and like I’ve been saying, I will have new music for y’all to enjoy this year. In the meantime you can come listen to all my new music at my live shows and let me know what you think ❤️ I’ll be playing all of it.”

After being crowned champion of American Idol, Beckham relocated to Nashville where, according to his Instagram posts, he’s been spending a lot of time working on new music. 

“I’m really excited to get these tracks recorded and released for y’all,” he shared in late June. “It’s been a whirlwind as far as moving across the country, being away from my family again, and trying to put everything together properly.”

Beckham’s single, “23,” resonated with fans everywhere upon its release. Click below to listen.
