Noah Thompson and HunterGirl are hitting the road together!

The reigning American Idol winner and runner-up revealed plans for a co-headlining tour, which will kick off on Thursday, October 27 in Columbus, Ohio, and continue through December 2, where the trek will wrap up in St Louis, MO at The Hawthorn.

For Thompson the tour is unbelievable as just a year ago he was working in the construction field and now he gets to live out his dreams of being a full-time musician.

“I can’t believe a year ago, I was working construction, and now I’m announcing a tour with one of my closest friends, HunterGirl,” Thompson shared in a press release. “HunterGirl and I met on Idol and became really close. We’ve stayed friends, and now we get to get out there on the road together. One of my favorite things to do is get up on stage and sing. I am literally living in my dream world.”

HunterGirl, who previously worked with veterans as a music therapist, is equally excited to be going on tour.

“This past year has been one of the most incredible years of my life,” HunterGirl added. “It is going to be so much fun being on tour with one of my good friends, Noah Thompson. I am excited to be on the road with my band and have the chance to play new music that will be coming out soon.”

Thompson excitedly shared the news tour news on Instagram and promised, “These shows are gonna be awesome y’all.” HunterGirl also promised to share “new music that will be coming out soon” while on tour.

Thompson and HunterGirl appeared on season 20 of American Idol. The artists placed first and second on the show, respectively, and have quickly become great friends.

At the conclusion of the season, Thompson released his debut single, “One Day Tonight,” while HunterGirl released the personal track, “Red Bird.”

Since winning the show, Thompson has gone on to release his fan-favorite countrified rendition of Rihanna’s “Stay” and has been playing shows as well as teasing new music
