Trisha Yearwood and Lauren Alaina have something up their sleeves.
The powerhouse vocalists took to social media on Monday (June 22) to tease that something is coming on Friday (June 26).
“Cooking something up with @laurenalaina Hint: it’s not in the kitchen,” Yearwood wrote with a wink emoji.
Alaina also got in on the fun, writing, “Been COOKING up a little something with my girl, @trishayearwood, that’s coming your way 6/26.”
Yearwood and Alaina both shared a clip of Lauren’s recent appearance on Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, which aired earlier this spring. The 15-second snippet shows Yearwood singing a bit of Alaina’s latest single, “Getting Good” and closed with the date 6/26.
The comments section was flooded with fans sharing their excitement over a possible collaboration, but it appears everyone will have to wait until Friday to see what the Georgia natives have been working on.
