Bailey Zimmerman reveals he’s made a lifestyle change that has made an incredibly positive impact on his overall wellbeing.

In a new Instagram post, the rising country star candidly revealed to fans that he has cut back on drinking and as a result has noticed a major difference in his life. The video set to Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me,” found him reacting to claims that he looks “so much happier.”

Zimmerman wrote, “yeah tbh I quit drinkin all the time and that has truly changed my whole life.”

While sharing this life update, he went on to emphasize that the decision was a personal one and not meant to judge anyone else on their drinking habits.

“No judgment towards anybody but I wouldn’t change it for anything… My life has been so much better❤️,” he added in the caption.

This honest reflection shows how prioritizing health and finding balance in his busy artist schedule is already helping the “Backup Plan” singer thrive both personally and professionally.

Second Full-Length Album Arriving In August

Bailey Zimmerman’s important life update follows the news that his second full-length album, Different Night Same Rodeo, will arrive on August 8 via Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville.

He made the exciting announcement on Instagram, where he thanked fans for their patience while he put in the work to make the project “perfect.”

“I HOPE THE WAIT IS WORTH IT🔥🤘,” he wrote.

Produced by his longtime collaborator Austin Shawn, the forthcoming collection will feature several fan-favorite releases that have helped build anticipation for the full release. These tracks include “Backup Plan” featuring Luke Combs, Zimmerman’s Platinum-certified Top 10 hit “Holy Smokes,” along with “New To Country,” “Hell or High Water,” “Holding On,” and, “Comin’ In Cold.”

Plus, he recently told fans to “stop what you’re doing and go jam,” to his latest preview of the album, “Ashes” with Diplo. The country act noted that he heard fans’ requests for a new “summer banger” and that’s “exactly” what he delivered with this release.

At the same time, fans can still expect the kind of electrifying, high-energy anthems that have become an essential part of his growing catalog.

Just as he announced the new project, Bailey Zimmerman also launched his Summer 2025 New To Country Tour with back-to-back sold-out shows in Indianapolis, IN, and Sterling Heights, MI, on June 6 and 7.
