Blake Shelton is letting it all hang out while filming The Voice at his Oklahoma ranch.

During a virtual press conference held on Tuesday (May 12), ahead of next week’s finale, the superstar joked that he has been “completely naked from the waist down” while appearing on the hit show from his home.

“We don’t have any kids or any family members [there],” he said. “I feel more comfortable. I feel more free.”

When a reporter asked the “God’s Country” singer if he’s had any “close calls on camera,” he laughed and said, “I sneezed at one point, and there was some floppage. But it didn’t make it on to the camera.”

Fellow The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson couldn’t help but throw a little jab at Shelton, adding in, “Hopefully everybody at home has some binoculars!”

Like many shows, The Voice has been filming from various locations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The coaches and contestants are shooting from their homes around the country, while host Carson Daly has been shooting his portions from the empty set in California.

Shelton went on to give credit to his longtime girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, and her brother for helping him make his segments happen.

“Gwen’s been doing hair and makeup for me,” he said. “She likes doing that stuff. Gwen’s brother is here and that’s who has been doing all of [the technical] stuff. If he wasn’t here, I’d be screwed.”

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on NBC.
