Bobby Bones, host of the nationally syndicated The Bobby Bones Show and returning American Idol in-house mentor, recently stopped by for a special edition of the Country Now Pupdate with his very own puppy Stanley.

About a year and a half after losing his dog Dusty, who was by his side for 15 years, Bones finally decided he was ready to be a dog dad again and recently took in an English Bulldog. Dubbed Stanley, after one of Bones’ favorite characters on The Office, the new pup has quickly become the multi-talented media personality’s best bud. Bones often documents their adventures on Instagram, sharing photos and videos of his new sidekick.

During this special edition of the Country Now Pupdate, Bones answered various questions about himself, revealing facts such as his first celebrity crush, his top three interviews of all time and if he’s ever used Stanley to pick up a girl.

He even opened up about returning to American Idol and shared the craziest rumor he’s ever read about himself (you’ll never believe this one!).

Watch the clip above to catch Bobby Bones on the Country Now Pupdate.

Bones is currently in the midst of his music and comedy tour with his duo Bobby Bones & the Raging Idiots. For more with Bones, fans can tune into The Bobby Bones Show, which is nationally syndicated to country radio stations across the United States, and listen to his podcast, The BobbyCast.
