Brantley Gilbert and his wife, Amber Cochran, have officially been married for eight years. To commemorate this milestone in their relationship, Cochran took to social media to pen a few heartfelt words about her hubby.

The post included a stunning photo of the pair on the beach wearing breezy, neutral-colored ensembles as Gilbert planted a kiss on her cheek.

Her caption read, “Happy Anniversary to you @brantleygilbert so thankful for the way you support my crazy ideas and put up with all the rabbit holes I go down 🤪 and that you are finally switching up your wardrobe to less black on black. I love you. #8years

Cochran also shared one of her “favorite” photos from their wedding day on her Instagram story that showcased the couple looking at each other lovingly as they walked towards the small white chapel and glimmering tent.

While the pair have known each other for many years, their relationship wasn’t always smooth sailing. The romance first sparked back in high school, however Gilbert’s battle with addiction eventually led them to go their separate ways.

During their separation, he continued pursuing his music career. As his success began to grow, so did his use of drugs and alcohol, eventually landing him in the hospital. This experience hit him with the realization that he had to make a major lifestyle change and on December 18, 2011, Gilbert began his journey with sobriety.

Amidst this shift, he was briefly engaged to fellow country singer Jana Kramer. Once they called it quits, the Georgia native reunited with his true love, Cochran, and the rest of history.

“There wasn’t a period of time that went by that I didn’t think of her,” he previously shared with People. “If I wrote a love song, there’s a piece of her in it somewhere, even when we weren’t together.”

His second chance at life led him to an engagement with Cochran in 2014 and a beautiful wedding in 2015. The lovebirds were eager to start a family together but experienced a few bumps along the way as they faced fertility issues for nearly two years.

Then in 2017, their struggles with conceiving finally subsided as they found out they were pregnant with their first child. Cochran gave birth to their son, Barrett Hardy-Clay, on November 11, 2017. A few years later, on September 9, 2019, they welcomed their second child, Braylen Hendrix.

In addition to his responsibilities as a father, Brantley Gilbert has had to work hard to also maintain his thriving music career. He’s often seen collaborating with big names such as Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Lindsay Ell, Keith Urban, and most recently, Jelly Roll.

The country rockers dropped their first-ever collaboration, “Son of the Dirty South,” in 2022 and then embarked on their Son of a Sinners tour. During a previous conversation with Country Now, Gilbert teased that there is even more in the works with him and one of his “closest friends in the world.”

“We went and lived in the studio for about a week,” Brantley revealed. We’ve really got enough for an album, so I think right now we’re just trying to figure out whether or not it’s gonna be an EP or an album, but there’s definitely something coming.”

“This album that we put together, this EP that we put together, literally covers every base. I mean, we both went into our little bag of tricks across the board. So there’s a little bit of everything on it,” he continued, offering a sneak peek into what fans can expect from the project. “When you hear this project, it will blow your mind. I could play you one song and then play you another one, and you can say, in million years, do not ever put that on the same album.”

This forthcoming project will follow the “Heaven By Then” singer’s latest release, So Help Me God (Deluxe Edition).  The collaborative collection is a true testament to Gilbert’s ability to explore different songwriting styles from party anthems to faith-filled tracks, while also maintaining his true authenticity.

Beginning June 12, Brantley Gilbert brought his new music to the stage as he joined one of the top-selling rock acts of all time, Nickelback, on the road for The Get Rollin’ Tour.

The trek includes stops across North America in Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Nashville, and more before wrapping up on Wednesday, August 30 in Belmont Park, NY at UBS Arena.
