Brantley Gilbert and his wife Amber Cochran Gilbert are celebrating 11 years of marriage. The country act honored the occasion by posting a heartfelt message to his other half on Instagram alongside a photo from the day they said “I do” on June 28, 2015.

The photo showcased Amber’s simple yet elegant white silk gown and Gilbert’s slightly elevated yet casual look of jeans, a white button-down shirt, a gray vest and a baseball cap. The newlyweds were all smiles as they walked hand in hand down the aisle after officially being declared husband and wife.

Gilbert took a moment to reflect on the life they’ve built together over the years, making sure to praise his wife for all the love and strength she brings to their partnership. Although the lovebirds couldn’t celebrate their anniversary together in person, as the Georgia native is currently on the road for The Real American Tour, Gilbert assured his family he’d be home soon.

He wrote, “Hard to believe it’s been 11 years. Thank you for being the good in me. Thank you for being the one that got away when you needed to, and the one that came back when you didn’t have to. I love you. Kiss the babies and tell em I’m headed home! I’ll see you soon.”

Brantley Gilbert and Amber Cochran’s love story has been years in the making and while there have been a few bumps in the road, they always found their way back together. The couple first met as teenagers in high school, but Gilbert’s battle with addiction eventually led them to part ways.

During those years, Gilbert navigated some of the darkest moments of his life as he learned to overcome addiction and embrace sobriety. On December 18, 2011, Brantley Gilbert officially began his journey with sobriety. This became a turning point that ultimately changed the course of both his personal life and career.

The “Bottoms Up” singer was briefly engaged to fellow country singer Jana Kramer in 2013. After the two of them broke things off, he reunited with Amber and fell back in love all over again.

Their reconnection led to Gilbert popping the question to Amber in 2014, followed by a stunning wedding in 2015. The newlyweds faced fertility issues for nearly two years before finding out they were pregnant with their first child, a son named Barrett Hardy-Clay who they welcomed into the world on November 11, 2017.

Then on September 9, 2019, their second child, Braylen Hendrix, arrived followed by the unforgettable birth of their third baby boy, Abram Howell Gilbert, on October 11, 2024.

Gilbert was on stage in the midst of performing his set when his wife went into labor nearby on his bus.

“We were four songs into the set, and my tour manager comes up and pulls on my arm. The first thing that came to mind is, ‘It’s a security threat,’” Gilbert told PEOPLE at the time. “He looked at me, and he gave me a stern like, ‘Come on.’ He was like, ‘Baby.’ He mouthed ‘baby’ to me and when he did, I dropped the mic and everything and took off running.”

Moments later, he was on the tour bus watching Amber give birth with the assistance of her midwife. Abram weighed in at 5 lb 7 oz.

As a husband and father of two, Brantley Gilbert has found that family has become the driving force behind both his life and his music, especially in his new album, SINS OF THE FATHER, arriving July 24. Throughout the project, he reflects on his past, the lessons he’s learned and how becoming a husband and father has changed everything for him.

Marking his first full-length release with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and eight studio album in his career, the project is one of his most personal to date.

“I don’t have skeletons in the closet – my shit’s out in the open. So if there’s any piece of my story that could help somebody, I’m cheating them if I keep it to myself…I’ve gotten comfortable with uncomfortable conversations, and I do have a story to tell,” he shared. “The stuff behind me is ugly, but God has blessed me immensely, and I’ve gotten to a place where I’m centered on being a good dad and husband. There’s no regrets. Everything made me who I am today. But in sharing that story? Man, I may help somebody dodge that shitty road.”

“GOOD DAMN,” which marks the first preview of upcoming project and is quickly gaining momentum at Country radio. The track earned 95 adds in its debut week, marking the second-largest add week of his career, just behind “Bottoms Up,” which secured 106.

Gilbert’s 2026 headline trek continues this weekend with shows in Decatur, IL on July 3 and Madison, IN on July 4 and is set to run through September 12 with his final stop in Fort Madison, IA.
