Morgan Wallen is set to headline a massive show at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
Billed as “Morgan Wallen’s Country Thunder Takeover,” the event will also feature special guests Granger Smith (feat. Earl Dibbles Jr.), Larry Fleet, Jon Langston and ERNEST.
The Bristol Motor Speedway website reads, “Morgan Wallen and some of his buddies are coming to Bristol Baby! Standing event in the infield at Bristol.”
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 21 at 8 am CT. Camping and parking options will also be available.
This event is one of seven festivals hosted by Country Thunder, including Florida, Arizona, Iowa, Wisconsin, Alberta and Saskatchewan (Canada).
The show announcement comes after Wallen’s official return to the stage, which came earlier this month with the Morgan Wallen & Friends benefit concert in support of of those impacted by the recent devastating flooding in Middle Tennessee.
The East Tennessee native was joined by Dierks Bentley, HARDY, Cole Swindell, Lainey Wilson, Josh Thompson, ERNEST, Ben Burgess, Jared Mullins and Lathan Warlick at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works for a sold-out show that raised over $725,000 for The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee and the Tennessee Emergency Response Fund.
Most recently, Wallen has been in the studio working on new music. He shared a video from the studio on Saturday via Instagram stories, writing, “What song y’all think we workin’ on today?”
The East Tennessee native recently earned a nomination for CMA Album of the Year for his record breaking sophomore release, Dangerous: The Double Album. The nomination came despite being ineligible to receive nominations in individual CMA Awards categories, including Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year.
His latest single, “Sand In My Boots,” is at country radio now.
