Rascal Flatts’ lead guitarist Joe Don Rooney, 45, was charged with driving under the influence early Thursday morning, according to a WSMV report.
Rooney reportedly was arrested in Williamson County, Tennessee following a motor vehicle crash around 4 am local time on Thursday, Sept. 9.
The WSMV report from the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office states that Rooney crashed into a tree around the 1200 block of Hillsboro Road.
He was booked and bonded out on Thursday, with a bond set at $2,500.
At this time, it remains unknown if Rooney, or anyone else, sustained any injuries.
Country Now has reached out to Rooney’s team for a statement.
