Brian Kelley and his wife, Brittney, are sharing an update on their home in Florida, after Hurricane Isaias brought heavy winds, rising water and widespread damage to the area over the weekend.
Isaias, the first hurricane of the 2026 Atlantic season, arrived in the northern Gulf Coast near Destin, Florida, on Friday night as a Category 2 storm. According to CBS News, it weakened to a post-tropical cyclone within just hours.
The couple, who has maintained a home in the Florida Panhandle community for about 10 years, took to social media to show the impact of the storm on their property. A video on the country singer’s Instagram shows the intensity of the winds, causing the lake to white cap into their backyard in the midst of the worst part of the storm.

In the caption, Kelley explained that water came over their pool deck and made its way across “pretty much the whole property.” Brittany also shared a photo of the aftermath, writing “A lot debris & lots of trees down.”
The pair added that they are “thankful” that most of the damage was done to just “stuff” that can easily be replaced and that they “made it out high and dry.”
While their home had weathered the worst of the storm, cleanup was already underway throughout the community. They expressed gratitude for all the neighbors who came together during this difficult time to help one another
“Thank you Lord for your protection!!! Lots to clean up here and all around town.”
They added that Grayton Beach remained without power as of Sunday and they have limited cell service. Luckily, the couple has a generator that has remained on for over 35 hours.
“Thank y’all for checking in. We still don’t have power or good cell service. We have a generator and Starlink so we are good here,” Brittney stated in an update on Instagram stories.
In another series of photos, Brittney showed her country singer husband, affectionately dubbed “Chainsaw Kelley,” holding the power tool as he helped clear the fallen trees and branches surrounding their property. She also shared a photo of their boardwalk leading out toward the water, where debris, fallen trees and fallen signs laid spanned the area, with just a table and chair left standing. “This little scene got me,” she wrote alongside the image, adding, “So thankful.”
Brian Kelley and his wife both have deep roots in the Florida Panhandle. In addition to having a home in the Sunshine state, they also operate their lifestyle and clothing brand, Tribe Kelley Surf Post, in Grayton Beach and own Papa Surf Burger Bar in nearby Santa Rosa Beach.
While the burger bar has opened its doors with a limited menu, the retail store is still without power, making them unable to open the shop. They are asking customers to show their support by shopping online.
Their latest updates come as communities across the region continue to unravel from the aftermath of Hurricane Isaias. On October 11, CBS News reported that at least four people had died as a result of the storm, with two fatalities reported in Alabama and two in Florida. The outlet also noted that nearly 390,000 customers were without power across the region.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis stated that 95% of all Florida Power & Light outages is expected to be restored by Monday night.
