Brothers Osborne is set to release their self-titled fourth studio album on Friday, September 15.

Every song on the album was co-written by John Osborne and TJ Osborne, including the newest track, “Sun Ain’t Even Gone Down Yet.”

“We’ve always had a lot of mystery intentionally around the things we have done, but with this album, we decided to be all in. And doing that reminded me of what it was like when I first started playing music, when it was an outlet for my angst or just a way to have fun,” TJ Osborne said in a release.

“Since our last record, we’ve been very forthcoming with who we are,” John Osborne added. “By acknowledging TJ’s personal life and my mental-health struggles, we are more ourselves creatively and publicly than we’ve ever been.”

The GRAMMY-winning duo’s self-titled album was produced by Mike Elizondo (Sheryl Crow, Turnstile, Dr. Dre, Twenty One Pilots, Lin-Manual Miranda). John and TJ trusted him to compile his own band of studio musicians, which included Paul McCartney’s drummer Abe Laboriel Jr.

Miranda Lambert provides guest vocals on the track, “We Ain’t Good at Breaking Up,” which she co-wrote with Brothers Osborne and Jesse Frasure.

In celebration of the album announcement, Brothers Osborne also announced additional tour dates for this fall. They will perform in New York City, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Nashville throughout the month of October in celebration of the album release.

“These four shows will be very special, and all will be different, showcasing music from our new album, and of course some of your old favorites”, the brothers shared together in a statement.

John and TJ of Brothers Osborne have a story to tell, and they use their life experiences, lessons learned and musical talent to narrate it. This 11-track album will share those stories through the duo’s most musically diverse project to date.

“We are always pushing ourselves, always evolving and not afraid to change,” John said. “But at the end of the day, we are also who we are.”

“This is a defining record at this point in our career, where we needed to put it all on our shoulders,” TJ continued. “And we did. Like it was when we were growing up, it’s just John and me.”
