Carly Pearce channels her inner fury and serves up the ultimate plan for revenge on a cheating partner in the scorching new music video for her single, “Truck On Fire.”

Out now, the Alexa Campbell-directed video finds Pearce taking on the role of a scorned woman who is willing to do anything to get back at the guy who did her wrong. After finding out that her man has been seeing another woman behind her back, she makes her way to a small town and gathers all the items needed to pull off her devious plan to set his beloved truck ablaze.

Upon reaching her target, the songstress takes off her disguise to reveal a stunning gold dress and matching high-heel boots, the perfect outfit to pair with her revengeful actions. While watching the flames take over the vehicle, her ex comes out of his house with the other woman and looks between Pearce and his truck with a look of anger and shock on his face.

“Birds been talking up on the wire/ Spilling your secrets all over this town/ You and her, back road, pulling all-nighters/ Did you really think that I wouldn’t find out?/ Oh-oh-oh, so I found a little gas in a small red can/ Oh-oh-oh, last strike match flying out of my hand/ Liar, liar, truck on fire/ Flames rolling off of your Goodyear tires/ Burn, burn, you’re gonna learn/ Never should’ve put your lips on her,” she sings while making her way through the town.

Penned by Pearce with Charles Kelley of Lady A and Justin Ebach, “Truck On Fire” was released as the second single from her fourth studio album, hummingbird, and officially impacted country radio on July 29.

“No one wants to be cheated on, but everyone wants to seek revenge,” said Pearce. “I wrote this song for every girl who has gone through a similar situation and dreams of wreaking havoc on her ex.”

In addition to making its worldwide premiere on CMT, the fiery video was played on the 1515 Broadway Paramount Times Square billboard in New York City twice throughout the day on Monday, Oct. 14. This marks the first music video Pearce has released since she won the CMT Award for Collaborative Video of the Year in April for her GRAMMY®-nominated single “we don’t fight anymore” featuring Chris Stapleton.
