Superstars Carrie Underwood and Dan + Shay recently unveiled their much-anticipated collaboration, “Only Us,” and the vocals are out of this world.

The track, which appears on the Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack, marks the first time the GRAMMY-winning superstars have come together in the studio.

Produced by Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyers, “Only Us” is a soaring, powerful ballad that puts the artists’ impeccable vocals on full display and evokes emotion like no other.

This isn’t Underwood’s first time trying her hand at musical theater. In 2013, she portrayed the lead role in the live NBC production of The Sound of Music

Also included on the soundtrack is the film version of the song, performed by Kaitlyn Dever and Ben Platt.

The Dear Evan Hansen soundtrack features Sam Smith with Summer Walker, SZA and FINNEAS and Tori Kelly. Plus, the 16-track album features new recordings by the film cast of these beloved songs with music and lyrics by the Oscar, Grammy, and Tony winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman).

Among the new songs, the soundtrack also includes “A Little Closer” performed by Colton Ryan and “The Anonymous Ones” performed by Amandla Stenberg, who co-wrote the lyrics and music with Pasek and Paul. FINNEAS and SZA add their renditions of these originals to the soundtrack.

Dear Evan Hansen, the film adaptation of the Tony Award-winning musical, will be released on Friday, September 24.
