Carrie Underwood may be on a break from her massive Cry Pretty Tour 360, but she’s not completely off the clock.

The mom of two is also a savvy businesswoman, having created the popular athleisure line CALIA by Carrie Underwood, and she recently debuted her new CALIA swim collection with a swanky event in The Hamptons.

The new swimwear line directly reflects the superstar’s “sporty” swim style.

“I feel like with swimwear, growing up in my teenage years, early 20s, I couldn’t wear a triangle swimsuit,” she explained (quote via People). “Even to this day,” she said, “I can’t do it, it’s not going to happen. It would never have happened.”

Instead, the “Southbound” singer opts for suits that are “pretty and functional” – enter CALIA.

“I’ve had women come up to me and be like, ‘Thank you! I can take my teenage daughter and we can get things that are cute but also appropriate for her and for me’,” she shared. “And I think of myself running after my crazy kids and being at hotel pools, wanting to be cute but also not wanting to worry about things,” adding,  “Everything stays where it’s supposed to!”

While Underwood prefers to relax poolside, “by the water or on the water, not so much in it,” her eldest son, Isaiah, is quite the opposite.

“My son is a fish, he loves being in the water,” the proud mom shared.

CALIA’s line of swimwear is currently available for purchase at Dick’s Sporting Goods or online at caliastudio.com.

Underwood’s Cry Pretty Tour 360 resumes September 10 in San Diego, CA.
