“It would be a shame not to get to sing with him while we’re on stage,” she said.

Carrie Underwood is preparing to embark on her 43-city Denim And Rhinestones Tour and she’s bringing Jimmie Allen along for the ride.
In a recent Instagram post, she shared a photo of herself and Allen with the caption, “We’re just one month away from the #DenimAndRhinestonesTour! Do you have your denim and rhinestones ready, @jimmieallen? 👖💜💎”
Based on his response, it sounds like the “Down Home” singer is all set with his on-theme wardrobe.
“We ready !! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 denim ✔️ rhinestones ✔️” he wrote.
In a recent interview with Country Countdown USA, Underwood explained it “made sense” to choose Allen to join her on this trek because “he embodies denim & rhinestones, almost as much as I did.”
She added, “At least we know we will have a lot of bling, and plenty of rhinestones for wardrobe. We may even get together on stage. It’s always a shame, if I was to have somebody like him out, it would be a shame not to get to sing with him while we’re on stage.”
Produced by AEG Presents, this dazzling tour will launch in October before hitting cities around the U.S. including New York, Nashville, Los Angeles. Underwood recently revealed a few details about what fans should expect, including a setlist that will feature new tracks, throwbacks and potentially, some covers.
“It’s going to be very spectacular, there will be some surprises as far as songs. If we can pull it off it’ll be a fun, cool moment,” she told host Lon Helton before adding, “I might cover a fun song. So there’s that. You should look up from time to time. I have a B stage, so I’ve got to get out there somehow. I may be dangerous.”
Plus, it wouldn’t be a Carrie Underwood performance without a stunning array of costume changes, and she’s encouraging those in attendance to follow the denim and rhinestones theme with their attire too.
“Of course I’m gonna change my clothes, it’s what I do. There’ll be a lot of denim, a lot of rhinestones. I encourage everyone to dress up. I want to see the denim & rhinestones look. Just make it a night! Just have fun with it.”
Beyond the outfits, the show will include an all-new, visually stunning production directed by Barry Lather (Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson), and Production Designer Nick Whitehouse/Fireplay (Justin Timberlake, Beyonce).
Carrie Underwood released her latest album, Denim & Rhinestones, which follows her 2018 Cry Pretty. Since then, Underwood also released a Christmas album, My Gift, in 2020, and a Gospel album, My Savior, in 2021.
The eight-time GRAMMY winner’s most recent 12-track project includes fan favorites like “Ghost Story,” as well as the title track and “Crazy Angels.”
This upcoming stint of shows follows Underwood’s first-ever residency, REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency, which was held at The Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas and concluded on May 21.
The Denim & Rhinestones tour will kick things off on October 15 in Greenville, South Carolina and will continue until March 17 when she makes her last stop in Seattle, Washington. Click HERE to purchase tickets.
