Carrie Underwood has one of 2019’s hottest tickets with her Cry Pretty Tour 360. Each show is a full-on experience with a massive 360-degree stage, costume changes, pyrotechnics, lasers and a set list that spans the superstar’s entire catalog. The tour is an absolute must-see for any country music fan as it’s truly a unique experience.

Underwood recently brought her show to the Northeast and made a stop at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center where she delivered yet another a show-stopping performance.

Underwood does not fail to impress when it comes to even the smallest details of her Cry Pretty Tour 360, even including a number of show-specific cocktails at the venue’s bars: Something in the Whiskey (Jack Daniel’s Apple, Topped with Ginger Beer), Lime Before Whiskey (Jack Daniel’s Apple, Lime Juice, Topped with Club Soda) and Cry Pretty Juice (Coconut Rum, Sweet & Sour, Pineapple and Cranberry Juices). What’s even more impressive are the details that go into her production and wardrobe. Her costumes perfectly fit the style of the tour, which is full of glitz and glam. Production-wise, every song seems to have its own moment in the show, with each performance feeling a bit different from the last, thanks to various lights, pyro, videos, stage movement, etc.

Fan Involvement

Adding to the unique experience that is the Cry Pretty Tour 360, Underwood makes every show a bit different by inviting a fan from each city to join her on stage in performing her massive hit “The Champion.” After reading the stories submitted by the fans, Underwood hand-picks one of them to sing Ludacris’ verse of the song. It makes for a powerful moment in the show.

Underwood is a true entertainer. While making her way around her massive stage, she manages to keep the audience in the palm of her hand throughout her entire two-hour set. Her unique, eye-shaped stage, which stretches from one end of the arena to the other, allows her to make fans all around the arena feel like they have a front-row seat. Every performance was truly captivating.

Celebration of Woman

Inviting Runaway June and Maddie & Tae to join her on the entire run, Underwood made a point to make her Cry Pretty Tour 360 a true celebration of women. The ladies even joined forces during Underwood’s set to pay tribute to many of country music’s most iconic women with a medley of hits from Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, The Judds, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Reba McEntire and Shania Twain.
