Chris Janson recently shared a four-song acoustic release featuring fan-favorite tracks from his latest album, Real Friends

Among the tracks included on Stripped Down Acoustics is his chart-topping “Done” and “Waitin’ on 5.”

“Performing songs in an acoustic setting is how most of the songs I write begin,” Janson says. “I am excited to present these tracks the way they were initially created.”

Also featured on the four-song project is the emotional “Hawaii on Me.” Along with the recorded version, Janson shared a special acoustic performance video bringing the tender song to life.

“I wrote this song with my wife, Kelly, and it’s a special one for sure,” he explains. “It’s based on a true story about a father who told his family before he passed away, ‘Don’t be sad. Please promise me you’ll keep our tradition of going on family vacations and enjoy Hawaii on me.’”
