Chris Lane is embarking on a new chapter of his career after signing with Jay DeMarcus’ Red Street Records.

The newly signed deal is a partnership between Red Street and Lane’s new endeavor, Voyager Records. He will soon add to his catalog of hits with brand-new music.

“I was looking for the right partner for my new music and venture Voyager Records and found it in Red Street Records,” states Chris Lane. “Not only is Red Street an artist-driven label that supports my vision for music but Jay DeMarcus has been and continues to be a great friend.  I have been spending the time needed to write and record new music and can’t wait to share what I have been working on real soon.”

DeMarcus is also thrilled over the chance to work with Lane as they have a history together.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to have Chris join our family here at Red Street. We’ve been friends since he opened for the Flatts in the Summer of 2016. It has been so much fun for me to watch him turn into the star that he has become over the last few years, and now we have the privilege of being his label home,” he shared in a statement. “I have been so impressed with his growth musically both as a singer and a songwriter. I cannot wait for everyone to hear what he’s been up to in the studio. He’s gonna surprise a lot of folks.  I am even more impressed with the man Chris is, and he defines the kind of artist that we want to be in business with. This a big day for Red Street Records!”

To announce the new partnership, Red Street Records and Lane’s Red Light Management took over the Music Row Happy Hour at Margaritaville in downtown Nashville on Sunday, June 11 during CMA Fest. With Lane’s fans filling room and channel subscribers listening from home, the news was announced live on SiriusXM’s The Highway.

Chris Lane was previously signed to Big Loud Records where he earned three No.1 singles at country radio: “Fix,” “I Don’t Know About You” and “Big, Big Plans.”

Last summer, Lane teamed up with Lauren Alaina to release “Dancin’ In The Moonlight,” which was a reimagined version of the 1972 pop hit of the same name. The new version of the track was written by Jesse Frasure, Sherman Kelly, and Brett Tyler, and produced by Joey Moi. The pair debuted the song at CMA Fest and went on to perform it on the TODAY Show together.

The North Carolina native will head out on the road this year with artists such as Kane Brown and Jordan Davis. These dates follow his 2022 headlining Fill Them Boots Tour and his 2020 Big, Big Plans Tour.
