Chris Lane just scored himself another No.1 single as his latest hit, “I Don’t Know About You,” tops both the Billboard Country Airplay and Country Aircheck/Mediabase charts.

“So proud of this song, so proud of my team, who all worked really hard to make this happen,” Lane shared in a statement. “Thank you to the songwriters who let me record this song, thank you to all my country radio friends for playing it and a huge shout out to the fans – you chose this song for me and that makes it even more special! Feels really good!”

Produced by Joey Moi and written by Ashley Gorley, HARDY, Hunter Phelps and Jameson Rodgers, “I Don’t Know About You” is featured on Lane’s sophomore album, Laps Around the Sun.

The chart-topping success comes just as the North Carolina native gears up to hop across the pond for a run of shows in Europe. The singer will visit seven European cities, including Stockholm and London, beginning October 4. When he returns to the states, Lane will launch his Big, Big Plans Tour with special guests Gabby Barrett, Blanco Brown and ERNEST on select dates.

Lane and his fiancée, The Bachelor alum Lauren Bushnell, recently made their way back to Lane’s home state of North Carolina to celebrate their engagement with family and friends at Cuddle Creek Farm. The couple shared photos from the soirée on social media and even admitted that they wished they were “just getting married tonight.”

The bride-to-be also shared a congratulatory message for Lane, writing, “Woke up this morning still smiling only to find out my fiancé has the #1 song in country music! I am so proud of you @iamchrislane!! So many hardworking people behind this song, including all the radio stations playing it and we are so grateful we get to continue celebrating thanks for all the love & support.”

“Big, Big Plans,” the song Lane wrote for Bushnell, is reportedly his next radio single.
