Chucks Wicks is officially a married man.
The singer, songwriter and co-host of the Ty Bentli Show wed Kasi Williams, sister of country superstar Jason Aldean, on Friday (June 12). The pair exchanged vows in front of family and friends, including Aldean and his wife Brittany, at Cabo Azul Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
“Kasi and I both felt as if we were in a dream,” Wicks told People of their wedding day. “Every moment was absolutely breathtaking and the best part is we were able to share that with our closest family and friends! This moment will be cherished for the rest of our lives.”
Following the ceremony, the couple’s guests enjoyed cocktails around a firepit while a mariachi band provided music. Their reception was held at Javier’s Restaurant & Bar, one of the resort’s seaside dining restaurants.
All eyes were on the newlyweds as they shared their first dance to Kina Grannis’ version of “Can’t Help Falling In Love.” Later in the evening, fireworks lit up the night sky as the couple cut their wedding cake.
“It was a party from start to finish,” Wicks shared.
The pair’s wedding celebrations kicked off earlier in the week, with Willams hosting a special brunch for the ladies and Wicks treating the men to a scenic ATV ride along the Baja California Sur coast.
After crossing paths a number of times, Wicks and Williams met in the spring of 2018 at an ACM Awards afterparty. After returning from Las Vegas, they reconnected in Nashville and their romance blossomed from there.
“We hit it off right off the bat and stayed out until midnight that night, and then we made a date to go out to dinner that Friday night,” he said. “The first time I met her, I loved her. I knew she was special right from the start.”
Wicks and Williams got engaged earlier this year during a romantic Canadian vacation. While in a secluded spot the woods near Lake Louise, Wicks got down on one knee to ask for Williams’ hand in marriage as snow fell around them.
“I’ve waited forever for you and now I will forever be yours,” Wicks wrote on Instagram following their engagement.
