The couple announced the news on Thursday, June 13, 2024, just one day after saying “I Do.” the lovebirds confirmed the celebratory news in a joint Instagram post that also debuted Courtney’s updated Instagram handle featuring her new last name – Courtneylswindell.

“The Swindells 6.12.24 🤍” they wrote alongside a slideshow of serene photos from their big day that were captured by Madison Emily Hare Photo.

Swindell donned a slick black suit accented with a bow tie, black Stetson and black cowboy boots while his other half stunned in her simple white gown with a deep v-neckline and elegant long sleeves. According to the post, they got married in the sunny setting of Sonoma, California

While previously discussing the wedding planning with Country Now and other outlets, the “She Had me At Heads Carolina” singer revealed they had decided to do a “small ceremony” as well as a bigger reception shortly after their honeymoon to celebrate with even more family and friends.

“I’m looking forward to it and honestly just can’t believe it,” he shared. “I mean, this time last year we just getting engaged at the ACMs, and now here we are talking about the wedding.”

Seeing as how Swindell is currently in the midst of his current headlining Win The Night Tour, he admits it has been a bit of a challenge trying to find the right time to take a break for a “proper” honeymoon.

“We will take a little break…I don’t know how long you’re supposed to be gone, but it’ll be a nice break,” he shared before adding, “We’ve had so much off time. It’s kind of weird the timing of getting back in it, and then we’ve got more off time, but this is a special occasion so I think everybody will be good. Then we will hit the road again and be busy the rest of the year hopefully.”
