Ahead of their debut on The Voice and the kick-off to their headlining tour, Dan + Shay took a moment to share a gratitude-filled hand-written letter with fans, thanking them for their unwavering support amid the “busiest time” in the duo’s history.

A Thank You To Fans

On Saturday, the duo, comprised of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, released a heartfelt statement that began with a thank you to their devoted fanbase for purchasing tickets to their shows.

“It’s not lost on us how expensive it is to exist in the world these days, and the fact that so many of y’all decided to spend your hard-earned money to buy a ticket to see us play music is truly humbling,” they shared. “Just know that we are more grateful than we could ever put into words.”

Tour Preparations Underway

With their Heartbreak On The Map Tour kicking off in less than a week, Smyers and Mooney then revealed that they have been emersed in intense preparations for the trek.

“We’ve been camped out since the beginning of the year putting in early mornings, late nights, and everything in between to make sure that The Heartbreak On The Map Tour is our best show yet. The setlist will be a mix of new and old and will account for a whole lot of your requests,” they wrote.

The letter comes at the beginning of what will be a hectic year for the duo. They explained that they wanted to take time to express a sincere thank you to their fans before things kick into high gear.

The “Busiest Time” In The Band’s History

“With the premiere of The Voice on Monday, tour kicking off on Thursday, ‘Bigger Houses’ launching at country radio, the making of a secret project y’all have been asking us for since December of 2013, and so much more, it’s undoubtedly the busiest time in our band’s history,” Dan + Shay explained.

“But before things get crazy this week, we just wanted to pause and say thank you. Thank you for continuing to show us so much love and support. You are the reason we get to do things beyond even our wildest dreams, and we’ll never not acknowledge that. Hope your year is off to a healthy and happy start and we can’t wait to see everyone on the road so soon. 2024 is going to be the best yet.”

Tour Extension

Just days ago, Dan + Shay revealed plans to extend their 2024 The Heartback On The Map Tour with a slew of newly announced dates. The summer trek kicks off on July 18 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and runs through September 21 with the tour wrapping up in Denver, Colorado. This portion of the tour will feature support from Jake Owen and Dylan Marlowe.

Additionally, Dan + Shay will make their debut as coaches on NBC’s The Voice alongside Reba McEntire, John Legend, and Chance the Rapper. Season 25 of The Voice premieres on Monday at 8/7c on NBC.
