Danae Hays has been forced to postpone the first shows of her highly anticipated BUCKWILD Tour.
The comedian, musician, actress, and content creator took to social media on Wednesday, Jan. 21, to share the unfortunate news with fans. Her back-to-back shows in Huntsville, Alabama, originally scheduled for Jan. 23 and Jan. 24, have now been rescheduled for April 10 and April 11.
In an honest message, Hays explained that she has been dealing with illness in the days leading up to the shows.

“Y’all, unfortunately we are having to reschedule my Huntsville shows this weekend. I’m battling a virus and fever,” she shared. “I have tried all week to rest and get better, but my body is just not doing well.”
In addition to her health concerns, Hays also pointed to the winter storm expected to move through the area, bringing the potential for snow and ice, as another factor in the decision to postpone the performances.
“The weather is also not in our favor at the moment with the potential snow and ice,” she added. “Please stay safe this weekend.”

While the news was disappointing for fans eager to kick off the tour, Hays emphasized that the decision was made with everyone’s safety and well-being in mind.
“I hate having to reschedule my shows but yall deserve me at 100% not me clinching my cheeks trying to hold myself together,” she joked.
The BUCKWILD Tour will include 32 shows across 24 dates and is now set to officially kick off on January 30 in Greensboro, North Carolina. The new run follows the fourth extension of Hays’ debut comedy tour, The First Time Tour, which saw overwhelming demand from fans.
In just her first year on the road, Hays sold more than 50,000 tickets, cementing her status as one of the fastest-rising names in comedy.

The BUCKWILD Tour will feature all-new material, with Hays bringing her signature Southern storytelling to the stage in a way that feels like spending a night on the porch with your funniest friend. Fans can expect to see some of the beloved characters they’ve come to know from social media, along with country-comedy parody songs and real-life stories that only Hays could tell. The result is a show that’s laid-back, wildly relatable, and genuinely funny.
Hays’ viral Southern characters and parody country songs have helped establish her as a creative comedic force, earning her a combined following of more than 5 million across platforms. She’s also known for her prank phone call videos, which have recently featured surprise appearances from artists like Zac Brown and Drake Milligan.
