Fans have been on the edges of their seats anxiously awaiting Danielle Bradbery’s next release. Well this Friday, it’s happening. She will finally be dropping her highly-anticipated song, “A Special Place.”

With the announcement, Bradbery described her upcoming music as the beginning of the “next era” of her career.

“I’m really excited for this era of music,” she stressed again in her Instagram caption under what appears to be a preview of her hard-hitting lyrics written in fine print on the post.

The chorus reads, “There’s a special place in hell / a zero star hotel / don’t worry ‘bout your stay / cause I’ve already paid / there’s a special place in hell for you.”

For months, the singer has been dropping hints about her unreleased projects left and right. Earlier this week, she took to social media to share a behind-the-scenes clip of what to expect from the upcoming single that will follow this year’s full-length project titled, In Between: The Collection.

Fans weren’t the only ones excited to hear this news, even fellow country artist Maren Morris, who is a co-writer on the song, was in the comments sharing her enthusiasm with a few fire emojis. Parker McCollum’s wife, Hallie Ray Light also showed her support saying she’s “so excited” for what’s to come.

Bradbery dropped several more teasers on social media, including her latest sultry look that consists of a black ensemble paired with sheer black tights, smokey eye makeup and black heels, indicating that she means business. Showing her off her tattoos and maintaining her laser focus, the singer is filmed strutting with confidence down a hallway as she makes her way into a red-lit room.

The precursor to this video included a clip of the powerhouse making her way into the elevator looking calm and collected while mischief lingers in the air and her new song plays in the background. As the doors close, she leaves viewers with a knowing smirk on her face.

The young artist is making a statement and building anticipation more and more with each clip she shares. With all the mystery behind her recent posts, things seem to be heating up in a whole new way for Bradbery. Compared to her more recent airy ballad, “Break My Heart Again” and her current fan-favorite, “Stop Draggin’ Your Boots,” “A Special Place” sounds as though it will showcase a more edgy, unsparing side of her that has yet to be seen.

Over the summer, the Texas native celebrated nine years since winning NBC’s The Voice at just 16 years old. As she grows stronger in her craft and dives deeper into her artistry, Bradbery shows no fear when it comes to wearing her heart on her sleeve.

Danielle Bradbery’s new single, “A Special Place” will be available this Friday, Sept. 2. Her next performance will take place Sept. 17 in Oak Grove, KY before she returns to the Grand Ole Opry in October.
