Tucker Wetmore is no stranger to the rush of performing live, and as his headlining shows continue to grow in size and scale, he’s realizing not only how special it is to be the main act, but also just how much his career has taken off in a short amount of time.
Over the years, Wetmore says he thought he’d experienced the ultimate thrill, whether on the football field or during his college days, however there’s nothing quite like the energy that he gets from music. He explains that him and other artists often find themselves trying to capture that same rush when they’re off the road, only to discover that it’s impossible to duplicate.

“I grew up playing sports and everything and back then I thought Friday night lights was the best feeling in the world. And I got to college and I thought that was the best feeling in the world…There’s something about headlining shows that, you can’t really find that feeling anywhere else,” he admits to Country 102.5.
Fans got to witness Tucker Wetmore soak up that feeling and truly experience the magic of the stage during a recent show in Harrisburg, PA. In a video recorded by an attendee of the show and shared to TikTok, the “Proving Me Right” singer is seen crouching on stage, taking in the packed arena as fans sing along to his RIAA-certified Platinum single “Wind Up Missin’ You.”
He didn’t have to sing a note, the audience carried the song for him, leaving him visibly overwhelmed with awe over the huge life the track has taken on. He waved goodbye, shook some hands, blew a few kisses out to the audience before saying “thank y’all very much” as the lights faded to blackness. It was a clear this was yet another “I made it” moment for Tucker Wetmore.

Moments like these have given Wetmore a chance to pause and reflect on how much he his career has grown in the country music scene. He told the radio station that he has made a conscious effort over the last few months to spend time on his own or with loved ones and just think about all the “cool” things he has crossed off his bucket list already.
“When you’re in the middle of it, it’s hard to take yourself out of what the craziness is bringing and having that time really help me [realize] like wow, this is really cool. I’m truly so blessed to be able to do this, but I’m growing every day and I’m learning and just trying to be me. Just trying to stay healthy and happy,” he shared.
The Washington native recently kicked off the Brunette World Tour, which features several sold-out dates across the U.S., UK, and Europe. Before taking the stage for night one in Boston, MA, Wetmore compared the pre-show nerves to the feeling of getting on a bike for the second time.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a stage,” Wetmore shared. “I mean, throughout the past two months I’ve been on a stage probably like three times, but I feel a little rusty. I feel a little pre-tour jitters right now, but I’m very excited.”
Joining him is a lineup of rising talent, including Dasha, Carter Faith, and Jacob Hackworth joining on select dates. A full list of 2026 tour dates can be found on Tucker Wetmore’s website.
