Dierks Bentley is gearing up to take his high-energy show back on the road this summer. The country star just announced that he is setting out on the OFF THE MAP TOUR, bringing him to amphitheaters across the country throughout June and July.

Joining Bentley on the road will be the legendary Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder and Kaitlin Butts, along with rising stars, Cole Goodwin, Owen Riegling and the Mountain Grass Unit on select dates. With all the talent that will be appearing on the trek, Bentley promised that some “great on-stage collaborations” are in store.

To help share the news, Skaggs joined the Arizona-born artist in a stripped-back performance of his fifth No.1, 2007’s “Free And Easy ( Down The Road I Go).” Sitting in the studio alongside a set of band members, the pair of artists plucked their string instruments, Bentley on the acoustic guitar and Skaggs on the mandolin, and together they took listeners back in time with a nostalgic rendition of the fan-favorite track.

“The band and I are so excited about sharing the road with the one and only Ricky Skaggs, as well as with the other guys and girls on the shows with us this summer,” Bentley shared in a new statement. “They were all hand picked, as I am big fans of theirs. Can’t wait to get out there and watch their shows before we get to go out and do our thing.”

The upcoming trek is named after the song Bentley released last summer, which serves as a laid-back anthem about stepping away from the chaos of everyday life and finding peace in disconnecting and seeking adventure. He hinted that the tour was built around the same idea, with the mission of creating a space where fans can escape all their worries of reality for a few hours.

“‘Off The Map’ is a song about going to that place where you take a break from it for a little bit, whether it’s a bar stool sipping something cold, or a back porch down a back road. I like to think that our shows are a place where our fans can go off the map for a few hours, and recharge the batteries,” he added.
