This summer, Dierks Bentley will bring his newly-released 10th studio album on the road for his GRAVEL & GOLD Tour.
Produced by Live Nation, this upcoming trek will kick off on June 1 and hit a total of 28 cities with direct support from Jordan Davis, who says he is “pumped.”
“I’ve been waiting as patiently as possible for the time when we could tell our fans about this tour and I’m happy the moment has arrived,” Bentley shared in a press release. “With new music, a whole new set and vibe along with incredible musicians and singers to share the stage with.…I can honestly say I think this will be our best tour ever.”
He continued, “Jordan Davis and I have been talking about touring for a long time and he’s just killing. Not to mention the list of artists that we will be touring with is so exciting for me as a fan of all their music. I will be side stage every night taking it all in alongside the fans on this GRAVEL & GOLD TOUR.”
Along with Davis, the trek will feature a diverse group of special guests that will join Bentley on select dates including Elle King, Tracy Lawrence, Tyler Braden, Caylee Hammack, Hot Country Knights, Kameron Marlowe, The Cadillac Three, The Red Clay Strays, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Shane Smith & the Saints, Caitlyn Smith and Hailey Whitters.
While speaking with Country Now and other media outlets, Bentley once again stressed his excitement to embark on this run with the “Buy Dirt” singer.
“Who you tour with is huge, and people always ask me, ‘do you pick your tour mate?’ I’m like, ‘I can’t imagine not picking them because we’re gonna spend the whole year together. And it’s not just about ticket sales, it’s about the whole hang, the vibe,” Bentley said as he gushed about his soon-to-be tourmate.
“I feel really lucky because he’s a great guy. I mean, it’s fun touring with someone who’s just so easy to get along with, but he’s also like really hot right now,” he added. “It’s like, ‘yes, I nailed it! I got someone who’s just crushing it.’ I mean, he’s had so many huge hits and I mean, he’s really, he’s just rocking. So, I feel so lucky to have him out there. It just makes my job so much more fun when the person in front of me has just got the crowd going crazy.”
Over the past few years, Davis has grown both personally and professionally; as a husband and father as well as in his career with multiple awards for his double platinum-certified hit with Luke Bryan, “Buy Dirt,” and several back-to-back No. 1 singles.
Davis is showing no signs of slowing down because in addition to this upcoming tour with Bentley and unveiling his Bluebird Days album, he also recently revealed that he and his wife, Kristen, are preparing to welcome their third baby.
“We pushed the limits once more. We got another one coming in June. I gotta figure out how to not have kids in the summer because I’m usually pretty busy. I don’t know what I was thinking then but, you know I’m so excited,” Davis said in a statement to his label.
As for Dierks Bentley, he and his fans are still celebrating the release of his newest album, Gravel & Gold. This project honors the journey of his 20-year career in country music and marked his first time serving as a producer alongside some of his closest collaborators.
Bentley poured a tremendous amount of love into this collection, which showcases his diverse musical abilities.
