The queen of country music, Dolly Parton, recently took to social media to proudly announce the launch of Dolly – Scent From Above, her very first fragrance. To go along with the spunky perfume, the 75-year-old legend dropped a new pop-infused single, “Sent From Above.”

In partnership with Scent Beauty, Parton created a fragrance that represents who she is at her very core. “I’ve always wanted to have a perfume of my own because I love good smells, and I’ve always had people following me around asking what I’m wearing. And so, I’ve always done a combination of different things that I’ve kinda had a little smell of my own.” The “9 to 5” singer previously told Southern Living

The icon worked alongside fragrance experts to generate a unique blend. In fact, for inspiration, she hand-delivered her favorite perfumes to the professionals who got creative to bring her idea to life. “It’s a really soft, wonderful smell that’s long-lasting but it’s not offensive. It doesn’t wake you up in the middle of the night like some perfumes will,” she adds.

According to a recent press release, “the fragrance is floral, fruity, casual and feminine.” With just a quick spritz, consumers seeking a new scent can get a whiff of mandarin, blackcurrant, crisp pear, fresh peony blossom with undertones of jasmine, Lilly-of-the-Valley, vanilla orchid, sandalwood, fir, musk, tonka bean, amber, and patchouli.

Fans can purchase the delightful scent in a symbolic crystal butterfly pink bottle. “Even the W at Dollywood is a butterfly because I’ve loved ‘em since I was little. I had one of my biggest country hits was called ‘Love is Like a Butterfly’ in the early in the 70s. So, we had to have the butterfly on there, somewhere,” shared the platinum blonde powerhouse with Southern Living.

To encourage fans to go out and purchase the highly-anticipated perfume, the songstress dropped a toe-tapping single called “Sent From Above” on the very same day the scent hit the shelves.

“Just like the fragrance that inspired it! #SentFromAbove transports you to a heavenly place! Stream my new song today! Link in Bio!” she tweeted.

The bubbly tune serves as a musical love letter to the individuals who have played a vital role in her life and who she believes were sent to her from above. Sent from above/ I know you must/ be heaven-sent/ And I love you ever so much/ sent from above,” the artist sings in the chilling chorus.

While listening to her heartwarming track, you can purchase your own bottle from scentbeauty.com or hsn.com – prices may vary depending on the size of the bottle.
