“Wrecking Ball” Out Now

Most recently, Parton teamed up with her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus to release a new version of “Wrecking Ball,” a tune that appears on Cyrus’ 2013 Bangerz album.

“When I heard ‘Wrecking Ball’ I almost wept in my car. When it started into the chorus it hit me like a wrecking ball,” Parton shared alongside the revamped song’s release. “I thought how great can a song be and how great can Miley Cyrus be? I thought, I have to have that song on my rock album and I have to have Miley sing it with me! I love it and I hope you do.”

While she admitted she has no future plans to embark on a full tour, Dolly Parton has assured fans that she will not be retiring from the stage anytime soon. In fact, she is next slated to perform during the halftime show at the Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders game this Thanksgiving.

This epic performance will air CBS Sports on November 23, Thanksgiving Day, at 3:30 P.M. CST.
