Dylan Scott is now a proud father of two after his wife, Blair, gave birth to the couple’s second child on Wednesday (Aug. 28).
The “Nothing To Do Town” singer announced the arrival of their baby girl on Instagram with an adorable photo of himself with his 20-month-old son Beckett and his just-born daughter.
“Beckett loves his little sister and so does momma and daddy,” Scott captioned the snap. “Everyone meet Finley Gray. Born today, 8 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches long! I’ve watched my wife do this twice now and she is a rockstar!!!”
The Louisiana native and his wife announced that they were expecting another child back in March. Later, they shared that they were having a baby girl through an Instagram video showing the exciting gender reveal.
Scott opened up to Country Now about having a daughter earlier this summer and admitted he might be a bit more protective this time around.
“First off, we were just super excited, whether it was a boy or a girl. We both kind of really wanted to have a little girl, just one of each and what happens from here on out happens,” he shared. “I wanna be that dad who is definitely protective of where she’s at and who she’s with and all that good stuff.”
Finley Gary’s arrival comes shortly after the release of Scott’s new EP, An Old Memory. The seven-song collection is a tribute to the great Keith Whitley.
