After turning heads with his impassioned ACM Awards performance, country superstar Eric Church is offering fans another taste of new music with the release of “Hell Of A View.”

Out now, the tender-hearted track shows off Church’s softer side as he croons over his lover and the life that they have built together.

“This ain’t for everybody / Toes hanging off the ledge / Like we got nothin’ to lose / Ain’t always heaven, baby / This livin’ on the edge / You holdin’ me holdin’ you / It’s a hell of a view,” he sings.

“Hell Of A View” was co-written by Church alongside Casey Beathard (“The Outsiders,” “Mr. Misunderstood”) and Monty Criswell (“Like Jesus Does”). The song came to life earlier this year when Church and his collaborators wrote 28 songs in 28 days during a songwriting retreat in rural North Carolina.

The release of “Hell Of A View” comes as Church’s latest single, “Stick That In Your Country Song,” makes its way into the Top 25 at country radio. Both tracks are expected to appear on the superstar’s new album, which will serve as the follow-up to 2018’s Desperate Man.
