Eric Church sent fans into a frenzy on Wednesday morning (Jan. 11) when he announced his headlining The Outsiders Revival Tour, which will find the superstar performing in outdoor venues throughout the summer of 2023.
Beginning on Thursday, June 22, Church’s The Outsiders Revival Tour will visit 26 cities across the U.S. and Canada.
Produced by Live Nation, the highly anticipated tour will feature a number of special guests on various dates, including Whiskey Myers, Cody Jinks, Jelly Roll, Ashley McBryde, Koe Wetzel, Lainey Wilson, Midland, Parker McCollum, Travis Tritt, Elle King and Paul Cauthen, plus Jackson Dean, Morgan Wade, Muscadine Bloodline, Shane Smith & The Saints, Hailey Whitters, Ray Wylie Hubbard and The Red Clay Straws.
Church’s upcoming trek will be unlike anything he’s ever done in his career thus far as The Outsiders Revival Tour will visit only outdoor venues.
“When I approach touring, I’m always inspired by a new experience, a new way to gather, to express ourselves sonically and visually. Whether it’s solo, in the round, double down; being able to bring a different perspective has always brought out our best creatively,” the North Carolina native shared in a statement. “Well, we have never done an outdoor summer tour. Never headlined amphitheaters. Never brought a summer experience to your town that featured artists we want to share the summer with. Until now. See you in the season of sunshine with some fellow outsiders that shine brightest when the sun goes down.”
The excitement around the tour began earlier this week when “The Chief” took to social media to share several cryptic teasers with fans.
Each clip features a radio turning to stations that feature songs by artists such as Travis Tritt, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, and more.
In one clip, Church can be heard saying, “I still remember my first amphitheater concert. I was 16-years-old.”
Fans were quick to share their predictions about what the mysterious clips could mean. Many guessed that he was announcing a tour, while some thought he was hinting at a collaborative album.
Tickets for Eric Church’s The Outsiders Revival Tour go on sale on Friday, January 20 at 10 AM local time via Ticketmaster.com.
Presale tickets will be available to members of the Church Choir beginning Tuesday, January 17 at 10 AM local time.

The Outsiders Revival Tour comes after Church’s 55-city The Gather Again Tour, which offered fans an in-the-round show and earned the Billboard Music Award for Top Country Tour.
Additionally, Church also performed one-of-a-kind headlining stadium shows at Milwaukee’s American Family Field and Minneapolis’s U.S. Bank Stadium in 2022 and took the field at Tampa Bay’s Raymond James Stadium to perform the National Anthem with R&B star Jazmine Sullivan ahead of Super Bowl LV in 2021.
Later this year, Eric Church is expected to open his six-story Lower Broadway bar, Chief’s. He recently gave fans a look at the renderings for the much-anticipated establishment that will include a rooftop BBQ restaurant, an intimate music venue and more. Click HERE for a first look.

Chief’s is expected to open at 200 Broadway later this year.

Lauren Jo Black is a longtime country music journalist, editor, host, and media personality whose work has helped shape the conversation around country music for nearly two decades. As the current Editor-in-Chief of Country Now, she has become one of the genre’s most respected voices, interviewing hundreds of country music’s biggest stars, including Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Shania Twain, Randy Travis, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, and countless others. Over the course of her career, Black’s written work and interviews have reached billions of country music fans worldwide. A 2009 graduate of the University of Central Florida, Black began her career by founding Country Music Is Love, one of country music’s earliest independent digital publications, which she later sold to a major record label in 2015 before it was rebranded as Sounds Like Nashville. She then served as the publication’s Editor-in-Chief for more than two years. Her work has also appeared in Forbes, and she previously served as the Country Music Expert for Answers.com. Widely recognized for her expertise, Black has appeared as a featured guest on The Bobby Bones Show, BobbyCast, and Scripps News Morning Rush, providing insight on country music’s biggest moments. She has covered Luke Bryan since the early days of his career, beginning when he was writing songs for other artists, including Billy Currington’s No. 1 hit “Good Directions,” before stepping into the spotlight with his debut single, “All My Friends Say” and eventually becoming one of biggest names in music. She also gave Megan Moroney her first opportunity to walk a major red carpet as Country Now’s official guest correspondent at the 2022 CMA Awards. An interview she conducted in 2018 for Forbes.com with Luke Combs that inspired his multi-week No. 1 hit, “Doin’ This.” She has also hosted stages at CMA Fest, moderated an industry panel at Country Radio Seminar, and helped lead important conversations about the evolving landscape of country music media. Beyond journalism, Black has also used her platform to support charitable causes and highlight organizations making an impact.
