Rising country artist Carolyn Miller hopes to inspire others with the powerful new video for her current song, “Flatline.” And while she hasn’t announced an official release date for the clip yet, she has decided to share it early with Country Now readers in this exclusive premiere.
The empowering clip captures everyday people going through different difficult life situations. Photos and descriptions also give viewers a glimpse into how those people overcame their setbacks to reach their respective goals through personal strength, perseverance, and self-motivation.
From a man who is learning how to walk again after surviving a horrific motorcycle accident to a woman who underwent a double mastectomy and weeks of chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with stage II breast cancer to several brave people consistently working the frontlines during the global pandemic – each storyline presented is bound to put a tear in anyone’s eye.
Miller, who previously released songs, “All In” and “Ain’t About That,” opened up about her new video for the track telling Country Now, “I wanted to give the spotlight to my followers in this video. I had this idea to showcase people’s ‘comeback’ stories and I was blown away by all of the submissions we received. Every story moved me to tears -– words can’t express how inspired I am by their bravery and persistence and their willingness to share such a vulnerable part of their lives. This project will forever hold a special place in my heart.”
“To me, this is the ultimate fight song,” the singer/songwriter added of the touching track, co-written by Wilson, Parker Mckay, and Wendy Parr. “It’s about perseverance, coming back stronger, building back better, and getting up no matter how many times you’ve been knocked down.”
Fans can look for more music from Miller soon, as she has seven new songs on the way. She also recently teased a new song on TikTok called “When I Say I Do Today.” The unreleased song, inspired by her marriage to her husband, racked up over 550,000 plus in less than 48 hours.
