Country newcomer Tiffany Woys is offering fans a different take on her latest single, “Loved By You,” with an unplugged version of the romantic track, premiering exclusively on Country Now.
The stripped-down version highlights the California native’s soaring vocals as she croons over a once in a lifetime love.
“To be loved by you / To be loved, to be loved by you / My God if you only knew / What it’s like to be loved by you,” she sings on the chorus, backed by a piano.
“This is the first time I’ve released a stripped-down version of one of my songs. I’m really excited for everyone to hear it,” Woys tells Country Now. “It’s in versions like this that you can really express the vulnerable parts of the song. I think this one is even more romantic.”
The treatment for the music video to accompany the unplugged song was re-worked due to the current global pandemic, but Woys says she’s thrilled with the way it turned out.
“I had an entirely different idea for this video a few months ago. However, under the circumstances, we had to reimagine some things,” she explains. “Considering this song is stripped down to vocal and piano, it actually felt so good to just be by myself, in my house and on my couch. So, maybe this was how it was supposed to be all along. It was so important to me to still have Bobby, my producer and a co-writer of the song, featured in this video. So, instead of doing the average Zoom call, we thought we could step it up while social distancing.”

“Loved By You,” which was written by Emma Lee, Bobby Campbell, and Madeline Merlo, follows Woys’ previous single, “Hostage.” The track is the rising singer’s first release of 2020 and is at country radio now.
