Carly Pearce is often seen using her social media platforms to share glimpses of her life both on and off the stage as a way to stay connected to her fanbase. In recent months, a new face has joined her stream of photos, sparking speculation that the female songstress might have a new romantic relationship brewing.
Who Is Carly Pearce’s Boyfriend?
It started with a few Instagram stories that showcased Pearce looking cozy with a recent addition to her band, a drummer named B.C. Taylor. Then throughout July, she shared more candid posts from her time on the road and intertwined with the behind-the-scenes snapshots and memorable moments with her band, Pearce seemingly hard-launched her relationship with Taylor.
While the “What He Didn’t Do” singer hasn’t officially confirmed the rumors about her and the former drummer for Filmore, fans continue to make note of the fact that the pair look as happy as can be in both the special moments shared online and their on-stage chemistry.
At first, some expressed confusion saying, “is that her new bf?” to which others confidently responded, “she’s dating her drummer.”
However, many of her fans have simply filled her comment sections with kind messages, letting her know they support her in this new journey.
Cute Instagram Photos
“I love seeing you this happy,” one user wrote while others said, “Obsessed with you and your boyfriend! I’ve been hoping this would happen. Cute couple alert!” and “Enjoy life!! Do you!! Don’t listen to anybody else!!!!”
The Relationship Is Not Officially Confirmed
In one of Pearce’s most recent Instagram posts, she’s seen with her head on Taylor’s shoulder and her arms wrapped around his neck while his hands pull her closer by the knee. This heartfelt image, among others, only further proves the fans’ theory that love may be in the air.
Breakup with Riley King
The speculation surrounding Pearce and her new love interest comes after the GRAMMY-winning country star and her former boyfriend Riley King, confirmed their breakup.
While speaking with Page Six in June of 2023, the MLB player turned Nashville-area realtor revealed that “things didn’t work out” between the pair.
He continued, “Carly and I have parted ways and I wish her nothing but the best in both her career and personal life.”
Nearly a month before announcing their split, the pair were seen enjoying a trip to Napa Valley in May. Pearce shared a few highlights from their romantic getaway on social media and captioned the post, “A dreamy few days with my favorite guy ♥️🍷.”
Prior to this wine country vacation, the GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter boasted about the Montana native’s incredible support while speaking with E! News at the 2023 CMT Music Awards.
“This is all he wants for me to do,” Pearce explained of King at the time. “I think it’s really hard to find a supportive significant other when you live this crazy life, and he does it like a champ.”
All photos of Pearce and King have since been deleted from her Instagram account.
Collaboration with Chris Stapleton
During this time, the Kentucky native was also in the midst of promoting one of her recent releases, a collaboration with Chris Stapleton titled, “We Don’t Fight Anymore.” While speaking about the song in an Instagram post, Pearce revealed that the story was inspired by some of the more difficult components of a relationship that she and many others have experienced.
“This song embodies a place that I think, if we are honest with ourselves, we’ve all felt at some point in a relationship,” she wrote. “The distance that feels heartbreaking, yet you’re also indifferent. I’ve always been a writer who never wanted to shy away from the ‘uncomfortable’ moments in all of our lives, and this song feels too important not to share. @chrisstapleton, you made my dreams come true by lending your incredible talents to this song. ‘We Don’t Fight Anymore’ available everywhere June 16th.”
With the breakup with King seemingly behind her and a possible new relationship rekindling that joy in her life, Carly Pearce is staying busy with various performances.
Next up, Pearce will take the stage at the inaugural People’s Choice Country Awards. This star-studded event will air tonight (Sept. 28), on NBC and Peacock on at 8 p.m. ET/PT from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.
The People’s Choice Country Awards will also feature appearances by Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay, HARDY, Wynonna Judd, Little Big Town and Toby Keith.
On Tour
Then kicking off in October, Pearce will embark on her North American headline tour named after her latest release, “Country Music Made Me Do It.”
Presented by Conundrum Wines, the 10+ city tour will kick off October 5 at The Town Hall in New York City and continue through cities like Boston, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Detroit and more before wrapping up on November 18 in Detroit.
Adam Doleac and Hannah Ellis have been tapped to join Pearce as support on select dates.
