Gabby Barrett and her husband Cade Foehner will soon be the proud parents of a baby girl.

The couple is anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first child and Barrett says she will be here “any day now.” The “I Hope” singer shared the short and sweet preganncy update on social media on Tuesday (Jan. 12) along with a sweet snapshot of a tiny pink and gray outfit on what appears to be a pink changing table.

“You are going to be one amazing Mama,” Foehner gushed in the comments section of her post.

Barrett, who continues to break records with her debut smash, recently shared that she received a few pointers on navigating motherhood from her friend and fellow American Idol alum, Carrie Underwood.

“She’s been very sweet with texting me,” Barrett told CMT’s Cody Alan. “She actually text me when I announced that I was pregnant and said, ‘If you ever need ‘mom advice,’ let me know because I am totally here.’ And I was like, ‘Absolutely. I will take you up on that’

“I probably annoyed her because I sent her a long list of questions,” the soon-to-be mother admitted. “She was nice enough to answer them all back, and she has given me some good advice. It’s extremely helpful because coming from someone like her.”

As first-time parents, Barrett and Foehner have been preparing for their daughter’s arrival by getting her nursery ready and learning how to change diapers. Barrett recently shared a clip of Foehner attempting to change the diaper on a stuffed animal.

Barrett captioned the video “diaper prep 101” and admitted they have “some work to do” before becoming diaper changing experts.

Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner met on the set of American Idol and got engaged in March of 2019. They said “I do” just a few months later, tying the knot on October 5, 2019 in front of 100 guests in Texas. Foehner inspired several tracks on Barrett’s debut album, including her new single, “The Good Ones.”

Last August, the couple revealed that they were expecting their first child, a baby girl. Gabby is due in late January.
