The Georgia Bulldogs won their first national title in 41 years on Monday after facing off against Alabama’s Crimson Tide during the College Football Playoff National Championship at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Clinching the win with a score of 33 to 18, Georgia finished the season with a 14-1 record, marking the most wins in school history.

Among the 68,311 fans in attendance, artists such as Luke Bryan, Kane Brown and Lily Rose were there to witness the historic win in person.

After witnessing the Georgia Bulldogs’ victory, members of the country music community exploded with excitement and artists such as Jason Aldean, Tyler Farr, Thomas Rhett, Travis Denning, Zac Brown, Travis Tritt, and more took to social media to share congratulatory messages and celebrate Georgia’s big win.

“After all this time, How sweet it is!!” Aldean shared alongside a graphic of their championship flyer. “Congrats @georgiafootball #GODAMNDAWGS.”

“Taking a break from my break from social media to say GO DAWG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Rhett added. “Wow. Great job boys!! #NationalChampions”

“I feel like a national champion, and I’m not even on this football team,” Denning said. ”GO DAWGS!”

“Good win GA! You deserved it. Heck of a season. Cost me a few bucks, but @Travis_Denning really needed something good in his life. Nice job guys,” Bobby Bones posted on Twitter.

“Georgia Bulldogs got me SEC-SICK,” BRELAND added.

“I don’t have much to say right now, other than we are the National Champs, Let’s GO BABY!!” Lily Rose said.

“How I woke up this morning remembering we’re #nationalchampions #godawgs,” Lady A’s Charles Kelley shared alongside an over joyous video of his son.

Ahead of the game, BRELAND and Sam Hunt performed as part of the Allstate Championship Tailgate.

Here’s how some of country music’s biggest stars celebrated Georgia’s big win.

Throughout her career, Black has earned a reputation for discovering and championing artists long before they become household names. She has covered Luke Bryan since the early days of his career, beginning when he was writing songs for other artists, including Billy Currington’s No. 1 hit “Good Directions,” before stepping into the spotlight with his debut single, “All My Friends Say” and eventually becoming one of biggest names in music. She also gave Megan Moroney her first opportunity to walk a major red carpet as Country Now’s official guest correspondent at the 2022 CMA Awards. An interview she conducted in 2018 for Forbes.com with Luke Combs that inspired his multi-week No. 1 hit, “Doin’ This.” She has also hosted stages at CMA Fest, moderated an industry panel at Country Radio Seminar, and helped lead important conversations about the evolving landscape of country music media. Beyond journalism, Black has also used her platform to support charitable causes and highlight organizations making an impact. Her first-ever book, Country Music Forever: An A-to-Z Celebration of Icons, Songs and Stories, brings that same passion and firsthand knowledge to the page, celebrating not only the legendary artists and timeless songs that have become the soundtrack to generations of fans, but also the places, traditions, and cultural moments that have made country music one of the most beloved genres around the world.
