Gwen Stefani is leaving The Voice and a familiar coach is taking her place.
On Tuesday (Nov. 17), The Voice announced that Nick Jonas would be returning to the show for the upcoming 20th season alongside coaches John Legend, Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton.
In the announcement clip, Jonas, who previously served as a coach on season 18, promised to “make Blake cry” during the upcoming season.
“Are you sure you want me to beat you for a second time,” Shelton teased on social media follow the announcement.

The current season of The Voice is underway with the Knockout rounds beginning tonight.

During this time, she hosted 24 weeks of live concerts via Country Now Live on Twitch with special guests such as Lady A, Dierks Bentley, Jordan Davis, Brett Young, and Jon Pardi. Over the course of her career, she has had the privilege of conducting interviews with some of the industry’s most prominent stars, including Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, and many others. Lauren Jo Black is a longtime member of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music.
