Sunday, June 18 is a special day for Blake Shelton. Not only is it his birthday, but it’s also Father’s Day, and Gwen Stefani shared a sweet social media tribute in honor of his big day.
Stefani wasted no time making Shelton feel special. She began the day with a message for Shelton and her own father, Dennis, in her Instagram stories.
“Happy Father’s Day to my to [sic] favorites,” she captioned a photo of the pair.

Later, she posted a photo of Shelton with her youngest son, Apollo. In the sweet snapshot, Apollo is gifting Shelton a trophy that reads “Best Step Dad.”
The No Doubt frontwoman went on to share additional photos, including one of her kissing Shelton’s cheek alongside the text, “Happy Bday to my everything cowboy, Blake Shelton.”

On her Instagram feed, Stefani gave fans an inside look at her relationship with Shelton through several personal photos and videos. Some of them showcase Shelton’s carefree personality while others show the couple on and off the stage together.
The video also gave fans a sneak peek of her brand-new solo single, “True Babe,” which drops on Friday, June 23.
“happy bday and fathers day, @blakeshelton <3 i love u more than anything,” Stefani captioned the post.
Fans flooded the post with sweet comments.
“I love seeing them both happy. Gwen just glows whenever she speaks of him,” wrote one Instagram user, while another added, “I’m crying. Thank God he’s yours for the rest of your life!”
Shelton, 47, has been laying a bit low since he bid farewell to NBC’s The Voice after an incredible 23-season run. During his final episode, which aired on May 23, Stefani appeared via video message to give Shelton a proper send-off.
“Who would have thought that this Orange County girl and this country guy from Oklahoma would find each other on the set of The Voice,” she shared.

“When I first came on the show, our lives were having this parallel destruction happening,” she added, referring to their separate divorces that were taking place at the time. “and then next thing you know, Blake and I start becoming besties, and falling in love.”
The emotional tribute ended with Stefani reflecting on finding her “soulmate” on the show and admitting, “it’s hard for me to even talk about it without getting super emotional.”
With one finale note, she proudly stated, “The Voice is gonna go on, but Blake’s legacy will be there forever.”

Just days before, Stefani and her sons, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, were on hand to support Shelton when he received the 2,755th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
When accepting the high honor, the “God’s Country” singer admitted, “I kind of stopped checking things off my list of accomplishments, great accomplishments in my life when I married Gwen and so this is just icing on the cake. But I love you so much and that’s the greatest thing that’s happened along this journey.”
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will celebrate their second anniversary on July 3.

The superstar couple tied the knot after six years together during an intimate ceremony in front of their closest family and friends on July 3, 2021. The elegant Carson Daly-officiated ceremony took place inside a chapel on Shelton’s ranch, built exclusively for the superstar couple to say their “I Do’s.”
Shelton and Stefani got engaged in late October of 2020 in Shelton’s hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. They first met as coaches on NBC’s The Voice in 2014, following both of their public breakups. The superstar couple began dating in November 2015, just a year after working together as coaches on The Voice.
The couple has gone on to release four duets together throughout their relationship thus far.
