HARDY just released a music video for his catchy new single, “One Beer,” and it’s surprisingly dramatic.
The cinematic clip follows the storyline of a couple that welcomes a baby at a young age. The video follows the baby into his childhood years, to his teenage years, and eventually his adult life where he fulfills his life-long dream of becoming a firefighter. Everything comes full-circle near the end of the clip when a dramatic twist finds the man back at his childhood home, which is up in flames.
Shots of HARDY and his collaborators, Lauren Alaina and Devin Dawson, are intertwined into the clip as well.

“One Beer” is featured on HARDY’s 2019 release, Hixtape Vol. 1, which boasts a whopping 17 guest artists among 10 tracks. The project turned into something HARDY could have never even dreamed of.
“All those people were people I had written with, or gotten to know in some way, so I just started texting them,” he recently explained to Country Now. “…And literally everybody I asked said yes. Insane. And that’s what started it.”
The release of “One Beer” comes on the brink of what is sure to be another career-defining year for HARDY. In 2020 alone, he’s scheduled to hit the road with Morgan Wallen, Cole Swindell and Thomas Rhett. On top of that, he’s working on his debut solo record, which he says will feature the deeper side of his songwriting.
“I’m gonna have a couple of my songs unleash my quirky redneck self, but as a songwriter, I do have a serious side, and some things I wanna talk about that aren’t really a party…Not that the whole album is gonna be depressing, or anything like that, but it’s just a little more serious.”
“One Beer” will officially hit country radio on Monday, February 10.
