The men of Hot Country Knights are on a mission to make the ’90s cool again and they did just that with the release of their first official music video.
The tongue-in-cheek clip stars actress Tiffani Thiessen and accompanies the group’s debut single, “Pick Her Up,” featuring Travis Tritt. The music video follows the storyline of a man who seeks dating tips from Hot Country Knights after asking his dream girl (Thiessen) out on a date. Lead singer Doug Douglason and his bandmates attempt to give him a makeover, a new ride and teach him some dance moves during what they dub “Operation ‘Pick Her Up.’”
“Travis Tritt is our longtime spirit animal and we have spent many a long night in the back of the van dreaming of working with or maybe even FOR Tiffani,” explained band leader Doug Douglason. “When UMG finally came around and signed us…they were two of our demands for the music video.”

The song, which officially hits country radio on February 3, was produced and written by Dierks Bentley along with co-writers Jim Beavers and Brett Beavers. The track marks the group’s first official radio single.
Originally formed in 2015, Hot Country Knights is comprised of Dierks Bentley (aka Douglas “Doug” Douglason) and members of his touring band. HCK consists of lead bass player Trevor Travis, lead guitarist Marty Ray (“Rayro”) Roburn, keytar/fiddle player Terotej (“Terry”) Dvoraczekynski, steel guitarist Barry Van Ricky and percussionist Monte Montgomery. The group previously opened up for Bentley and has shared the stage with artists such as Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi and Thomas Rhett.
