How To Purchase Dolly Parton’s New High-End Collectibles, ‘Dolly Dolls’

Dolly Parton is turning a core childhood memory into a new way to commemorate her legacy with the launch of the first three dolls in a new series of limited-edition “Dolly Dolls.”

Following Parton’s death, her team and estate have continued to honor her wishes by moving forward with projects she had been working on prior to her passing, including this high-end collection of dolls that bring some of Parton’s most memorable looks to life in a 1:6 scale.

The dolls were created alongside Parton’s new Life of Many Colors Museum, which celebrates her life, career, fashion and philanthropy, and were developed in collaboration with renowned fashion doll designers and marketers, Integrity Toys.

The collection has an especially meaningful connection to Parton as she the very first song she wrote as a little girl was about a doll her mother made for her out of a corncob, complete with corn-silk hair. She called the song “Little Tiny Tassel Top.” Now, she has a collection of dolls inspired by her own life and legacy.

Those who purchase the dolls will find a special statement from Parton on the packaging that finds her referencing that doll made by her mom.

“I have come a long way from that cabin in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, but I am still the same girl of many colors that I was then. I am so excited to have my newest tiny tassel top to share with all of you. Her corn silk colored hair has come a long, long way too! Parton’s “Dolly Dolls” project was something she and her team had been working on with Integrity Toys for more than a year before her death. In behind-the-scenes footage from the Life of Many Colors Museum, the country music icon she can even be seen playing with one of the dolls.

The first three dolls each capture a different side of Parton’s iconic style and stand at 12 inches tall with poseable vinyl bodies. Their outfits are inspired by looks from Parton’s personal fashion archive and feature handcrafted accessories along with makeup that was designed to coordinate with specific products from her Dolly Beauty line.

The first release includes Dreamin’ in Gingham, World on Fire and the Diamond in a Rhinestone World Museum-Exclusive doll:

The Dreamin’ in Gingham Dolly Doll (limited edition 2000; MSRP $165) features a Dolly Parton-esque gingham and denim look with luxurious details including custom embroidered roses and a blinged-out custom-designed guitar that matches one played by Dolly on stage, as well as fabulous shoes and jewelry, including a Dolly signature necklace.

The World on Fire Dolly Doll (limited edition 2000; MSRP $175) features a fashion reminiscent of the one Dolly wore to the 2023 ACM awards, with a custom top with zip front and tails, decked out with crystal rhinestone and glittered embellishments, buckle details and a decorative cross zipper pull, custom matching rhinestone-embellished seamed pants and a custom faux-leather capelet piece with buckles. The doll has a removable massive overskirt printed with a graphic of the world map. She also comes with a mic stand with a detachable wireless mic and amazing jewelry and shoes.

The Diamond in a Rhinestone World Museum-Exclusive Dolly Doll (limited edition 1200; MSRP $185) is only available in person at the Life of Many Colors Museum and features an elaborate custom rhinestone-embellished white suit styled to match one of Dolly’s fashions that visitors will see at the Museum. The look features a miniature of Dolly’s butterfly “jeweled” necklace among other jewelry, sparkling shoes, as well as a custom-designed and embellished electric guitar with neck strap.

This latest collection adds to the long history of Dolly-inspired dolls, which dates back all the way to the 1970s and has continued to evolve throughout the years.

For fans hoping to add one of the new dolls to their collection, Dreamin’ in Gingham and World on Fire are available in limited quantities through the Life of Many Colors Museum online store (linked here), as well as in person at the museum store. However, the Diamond in a Rhinestone World doll is exclusively available to visitors who purchase it in person at the museum.
