The highly anticipated new season of NBC’s The Voice premieres this month and as fans anticipate the return of the hit show, some of this season’s coaches are teasing their team advisors on social media.
On Saturday (Oct. 3), longtime The Voice coach and country superstar Blake Shelton gave fans two hints and asked them to guess who is going him this season as a Battle Advisor.
“Hey y’all, it’s Blake Shelton here and here’s what I’m gonna do: I’m gonna give you two clues and you’re gonna try to figure out who my battle advisor is this season, you ready?” Shelton teased on his Instagram story.
For the first clue, the “Happy Anywhere” singer listed four artists and said that his Advisor has collaborated with all of the artists listed but one. The artists were John Legend, Ava Max, Lauren Alaina and Maren Morris.
All signs point to Kane Brown as he has collaborated with each artist mentioned, except Maren Morris.
For the second clue, Shelton had his Advisor sing a snippet of Uncle Kracker’s song “Follow Me.”
“Here’s clue No. 2 for your guys, my advisor is gonna sing a little something for you,” Shelton shared.
The artist singing was, without a doubt, Kane Brown, however, neither Shelton nor Brown has officially confirmed the news.
The Voice is set to return on October 19 at 8 p.m. EST/PST on NBC.
